Re: $64,000 Question, Host Hal March actually appeared on an episode of "I Love Lucy" before "Question" debuted. Hal played himself posing as a doctor who told Lucy she had the "Gobloots".

Radio gold to hear the history and insights into the writing of the stories and characters behind Maverick and Rockford. The clip of Garner and the grass, demonstrates not just the writing, but it's enhancement by Garner's exceptional phrasing and unique voice. Not just the warmth, humor, tone and color, but he had a *range* of expression and inflection in the way that an opera singer does.

You don't always get the writing on TV dramas today. In those days writers, didn't just have crack dialogue and plot twists, but knew how to tell a story and put it together. Often now, violence, pace and action drives the drama. Today, we are so fortunate to be able to access some of TV's classic gold series on DVDs. One of my favorites is Rockford. But I do very much miss and regret the fact that Maverick, with James Garner, isn't available in the full series.

This is a fine tribute to a giant of a TV/film actor.

is it any wonder that a company that so thoroughly over-paid for KRON-TV with absolutely no plan for how to recoup that money, much less make a profit, had to file Chapter 11. Even if they didn't owe a dime, they have no identity for the station. Hire me as GM and I'll turn it around, making a profit, within a year.

Excellent interview, with great star guest, good informed questions and hosts who allowed their guest to talk. It was great to hear Mr Majors talk about his career and current projects and also good to see that he shows no signs of retiring. A treat for fans like me. I have seen When I Find The Ocean and agree it's a good family film. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
