Tim Goodman: Is there anything left to say about NBC?

From Tim Goodman's Feb. 6 column in the San Francisco Chronicle:

Everything we know we learned from television:

-- So now that we know that the "Saturday Night Live" skit "MacGruber" - which spoofs "MacGyver" - is for sale, based on the show, the network and the actors all selling out to do those lame Pepsi ads, can we just assume the rest of the show is available, too? If so, maybe Careerbuilder.com can take over some of the skits and make them funnier. It's probably time, indeed.

-- Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment, defended the Pepsi-infused "MacGruber" ads in the Super Bowl telecast by telling the Associated Press this: "What we're doing is selling entertainment vehicles and marketing platforms. This is where programming is going." To which we say: Is there anything left to say about NBC?
