Great article and interview with Anita. I'm sure the Pointer Sisters will land somewhere in all those inaugural festivities. I love those ladies and they have done a lot of good service for our country. They have done USO concerts for our troups overseas. They also participated in USA for Africa. And they did a great job in closing for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

From what I know of Anita and Ruth (don't know them personally, but) they will NEED to be performing somewhere for Mr. Obama's inaugural. I hope they get a good spot to do some songs, or I will be very upset! (smile) Would be nice if Bonnie could join them, along with Issa too. In case anyone doesn't know, the ladies still got a ton of vocal power and they will bring it.

Thanks, Tommy. I've always liked the Pointers, too, and when I first saw this article, I couldn't believe no one had approached them to sing yet. You would think "Yes, We Can Can" would be a no-brainer!
